Publix Trip Wednsday 9/2

So Wensday Annie had a double ear infection so we opted to stay home from church.  So that meant that I had to go to the grocery store and get some things for dinner.  I did really well. 
Bought:
       1 -1/2 gallon of sweet tea
       2 - Tyson Fajita kits
       2 - Cookie doughs
       3 - jars of baby food
       1 lb. bananas

Total before tax and savings: $ 25.07
After Coupons and savigns: $ 17.00

So see coupons really do work no matter how little or how much you are buying.

Harris Teeter

I have to be honest that Harris Teeter is not my favorite place to shop.  I cannot seem to find much of what I am looking for when I go.  Why then do I go?  Well to be honest I only really go when they are tripling coupons up to $.99 or doing their 'Super Double' coupons up to $1.98.  The problem is Harris Teeter limits how many coupons you can use in one tranaction (20) per a VIC card per a day.  Then on top of that you can only use two internet coupons.  I guess that is why you would say that Publix is my favorite place to shop.  The other day at Publix I saved over $50 in coupons alone and that was before instore savings.  So Harris Teeter can be a really good deal for those $1 and more coupons but you have to know what they carry and remember only 20 a day.
