So I am doing much better at this couponing thing. This weeks first trip I did really well saving around 34%! I bought mostly snacks and food for flood victims since I am so close to finishing stock piling items for a while myself. Below is my trip's items and totals.
2- Quaker chewy bars - $2.99 each (these were B1G1 one this week which will be included in my break down)
4- Chef B Ravioli - $1.00 each
1- Texas Toast Croutons $.99
2- bags of Mahatma rice $.99 each
1- Band-Aids $2.89
1- Neosporin $4.99
1- Box of Homestlye Instant Potatoes $2.99 (this was the sub for the Penny Item)
Total before Sales and Coupons: $25.41
After sales, manufacture's coupons and Publix Coupons my total was: $8.85!!!
That is not bad since this was not a big trip for me and I actually forgot a few items!!

Hope - Your savings is actually 65%. You are doing better than you think. :)
ReplyDeleteThe general formula is savings divided by retail cost multiplied by 100. I go into greater detail in my blog post here: http://www.couponqueendiaries.com/2010/02/calculating-your-savings.html
I just don't want you cutting yourself short. You are doing fantastic!
